A superb goal from Liam Hatch was the highlight of a 4-0 win for Posh Reserves over Leyton Orient at London Road yesterday.
Posh were leading through an own goal and a Scott Rendell penalty when Hatch beat two men before drilling a shot into the corner of the net from 20 yards to make it 3-0 at the interval.

Rendell completed the scoring with a second penalty midway through the second half and Posh could have scored more goals in a dominant performance.

Midfielder Paul Coutts rattled the crossbar from 20 yards, while Chris Whelpdale was excellent at right-back.

Posh: Tyler, Whelpdale, Andrew, Coutts (sub, Webb 84 mins), Charnock, Gaughran, Low, Smith (sub Crook, 81 mins), Hatch (sub Ginty 55 mins), Rendell, Batt. Subs not used: Gourlay, Reid.
